One of the first things we did was go onto the state house. The boys were pretty interested in the slave memorial.
Evan was stopping everyone that walked by and forcing them to wave at him. It was pretty funny. He even made the lawn mower wave. He was such a ham. He fell in love with Marilyn and even posed for her pictures.
Just documenting a little of the before the work out look...
Here we are after a great Sh'Bam class. Marilyn made it all the way through and never complained about the cheesy way I teach! :) Thanks friend!
I even made her come to another class the next day. She was all smiles for me... or maybe she was just laughing at us.... :)
Later we went to Harbison park and fed the ducks. We were swarmed!! One of the geese even tried to take a bite out of Brody! He was not too happy about it, but they loved seeing all the birds.
I think the best part of the visit was when we went to Nonnah's downtown and got some "chocolate temptation". We had fabulous dessert and even better conversation! Thanks for coming, Marilyn! I miss you already!
