Fire Station!!!
So i took the boys to the Devine Street Fire Station this week with a group of friends. They LOVED it. The men there were so nice and did an entire hour's worth of entertaining the kids. They went down the pole, dressed in their gear, brought out the truck and let them mess around on it. It was great!

One of the guys was a newby to the station and about 20 something years old. (the older men let us all know this...) Therefore he was forced to climb all the way to the top of the firetruck's ladder. Apparently when extended all the way up it can reach about 7 stories tall! that's a lot of climbing. Not to mention the ladder get's more narrow as you go higher up. That is not my calling!
The boys got to climb inside the truck and Evan was in there with them. He's not going to let the big kids out show him. :)
Brody was excited to get to hold the hose. I think he was hoping some water would come out.
This is the demonstration the men put on to show that firemen sound and look scary, but they come to your house to help...AKA... don't run and hide. Brody had no fear and ran up there to give the guy a high-five when he was done.
On a side note. They may like those firemen, but there ain't no man like Daddy. Our boys LOVE him. It makes me so happy to see it too. You're a good man to love, my sweet. Worth respecting.
And then-just a little goofing off. What can I say? We have fun.
